Tour Plan

The beginning of our 6 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech will take place today, and we will either meet you at the airport or at the hotel where you are staying in Casablanca. In Casablanca, we will go to the Hassan II Mosque, which is often considered to be the greatest mosque in all of Africa. After that, we make our way to Rabat, which is both the capital of Morocco and one of the country's four imperial towns. We are going to take a tour of the city's most well-known attractions, such as the Hassan Tower, Chellah, and the Oudaya Kasbah. We shall have lunches at our leisure. After lunch, we will get on the highway and head straight to Fes, which is often referred to as the "spiritual center of Morocco." We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon or early evening in time for dinner and an overnight stay at a traditional riad or hotel situated in the center of the old medina.
After breakfast, you will begin touring Morocco's most historically and culturally significant city. In Fes, "the spiritual capital of Morocco," you will tour the architectural medina. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the Dar El Makhzen, or Royal Palace, with its beautiful mosaic architecture and golden doors are included on our guided tour of Fez. The renowned Chaouwara Tanneries, the city's largest leather workshop, were constructed in the eleventh century. The Kairaouine Mosque (the historic institution of Islamic study) and one of the world's oldest colleges are closed to non-Muslims, however the mosque courtyard may be admired from the gates. The Najjarine Marble Fountain and Al-Attarine Madrassa is a religious school that has some of the most remarkable Islamic architecture. The Bou Inania Medersa is one of the most architecturally stunning religious institutions in Fes. There will be sufficient time for lunch at a nearby Moroccan restaurant. Then you will see that the mosaics of the Bab Boujloud archway change color from blue on the outer wall to green on the inner wall, allowing you to identify the sacred hue of Islam. Meander through the streets and marketplaces of the medina. Later, we will take you to a vantage point with a breathtaking view over Fes El-enormous Bali's medina. At the same riad in the medina for dinner and overnight accommodations.
We depart Fes after breakfast and drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll make a halt at Ifrane. We will stop in the Cedar Forest near Azrou to observe barbarian monkeys. Then, we continue our trip to Midelt, where we will eat lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive to the Sahara desert through the Tizi N'talghouma pass, passing by little Berber communities and the beautiful Ziz Valley, which is located near the city of Errachidia. We will then proceed to Merzouga via Aoufous and Erfoud. In two hours, we will arrive in Erg-Chebbi, a wonderful paradise of sand dunes, where we will have supper and overnight in a small hotel or Riad.
We will begin our excursion around the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes after breakfast. Merzouga Lake (not always full of water) to witness the types of birds (ducks and flamingos) that arrive to reside in this lake, particularly during the spring months. We will travel to the village of Khmliya, where musicians will perform Gnawa. Then, we will continue our off-road drive in the desert to the dark desert behind the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. Then, we'll visit a Berber family who lives like nomads to see how they live. After that, we'll go to an abandoned village where mineral fossils may be found. We will return to Khmliya for a tasty lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, you will go on a camel trek over the spectacular orange sand dunes to reach the desert camp. From the center of the sand dunes, this is a perfect opportunity to nourish your spirit and take in a breathtaking sunset. You can have dinner and spend the night at camp, where music will be performed and you can play on the sand dunes under an infinite number of stars.
The next morning, it is preferable to awaken early to witness the beautiful sunrise. Following breakfast and a shower, return by camel or car to the hamlet of Merzouga and continue on to Rissani. We will explore the famous, traditional, and largest market in the region while on foot, focusing on the locally produced items and arts & crafts. Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday, when the market is open, is the best day to visit Rissani. Later, we continue via the Tafilalt Oasis to Tinghir, where we can view the oasis's historic watering system. After reaching in Tinjdad, where we will have free time for lunch, we will proceed to Tinghir to experience the beautiful sights of the Todra valley and stroll along the orange cliffs of the Todra Gorge. We will conclude the day at the verdant valley of Boumalne Dades. Dine and spend the night at a hotel or riad.
After breakfast on the final day of our 6 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, we will go to Ouarzazate, Morocco's star-studded treasure. We will visit a world-famous film studio (Atlas Studios) and shoot in the Kasbah Taourirte en route to the historic and beautiful gateway to the Sahara Desert, which has served as the setting for several blockbuster Hollywood films. Then, we go to the next landmark, which is the old kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou. This is the most famous "fortified town" or ksar/Kasbah in Morocco, located in the province of Ouarzazat in the Draa-Tafilalet area of southern Morocco. This ksar, or walled adobe town, is fascinating, to say the least. Numerous cinematic masterpieces have been filmed there, as well as ancient Moroccan buildings. Following a tour to the Kasbah, we will stop for lunch at a local eatery. Through the High Atlas Passes, we reach our final destination, Marrakech, in the afternoon. We will stop along the route to take in the breathtaking vistas of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N'Tichka pass. We will transport you to your Marrakech lodging.
