On this Essaouira Horse Riding 3 Day Trip, you’ll gallop past the Atlantic ocean, across sand dunes, and through the lush Argan groves as you take in the breathtaking scenery.

Join us on a three-day horseback ride around Essaouira’s Atlantic coast. We provide an authentically wild experience in a stunning setting, surrounded by pristine nature, with magnificent views and nights spent outside beneath the sky. For a horseback riding experience that is genuinely indicative of Morocco, check out the country’s Argan forests, Berber settlements, long stretches of desolate beaches, and magnificent dunes.

Tour Plan

Transfer to the stable in Diabat, three kilometers from Essaouira, where the adventure will begin. Getting to know the horses while also catching up with the rest of the team. As we begin our journey along the Oued El Ksob, we will go through a number of different forests on our way to the lovely village of Ghazoua. It is likely that we may come across mules, goats, and sheep along the way. Later we will stop for a Picnic lunch. We are going to travel along the road in the direction of the tiny Berber community of Sidi Mhand O Mhand, which is where our camp is situated. Visit a group of women who work together to make argan oil in an Argan cooperative. At the campsite, you'll find a tea service and a spread of Moroccan sweets. After that, you're free to relax. Having dinner and spending the night in a genuine Kaidal tent.
Following breakfast, we begin our journey to Sidi Kaouki, which takes us past a number of big argan tree forests and quaint Berber towns. Later, we stop for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will make our way across the beach, heading to the town of Sidi Kaouki, then down onto a small beach until we reach the bivouac that is situated right next to the water. (Overnight accommodations at a guest house are an option.) At the campsite, you'll find a tea service and a spread of Moroccan sweets. After that, you're free to relax and watch the sun go down over the ocean. Having dinner and spending the night in a genuine Kaidal tent.
Following breakfast, we will saddle up our horses and head for Essaouira in the morning. There will be many long, empty beaches. We shall pass by a tiny fishing community on our ride through the forest. After a short rest for lunch, we'll continue onward through more sand dunes and beaches till we reach Diabat. The expected time of arrival at the stables is 16:30. At the conclusion of your 3-day horseback riding trail, we will drop you off at Essaouira.
