Essaouira Horse Riding 2 Day Trip: Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atlantic ocean as you ride along the beach, desert dunes, and Argan forests on this exciting horse trek.

Join us for a two-day horseback ride along the Atlantic coast of Essaouira. We provide an authentically wild experience in a picturesque location, in the midst of unspoiled nature, with expansive vistas and nights spent outside under the stars. For an horseback riding experience that is truly representative of Morocco, seek out its Argan forests, quaint Berber villages, endless stretches of deserted beaches, and marvelous dunes.

Tour Plan

Transfer to the stable in Diabat, three kilometers from Essaouira, where the adventure will begin. Getting to know the horses while also catching up with the rest of the team. As we begin our journey along the Oued El Ksob, we will go through a number of different forests on our way to the lovely village of Ghazoua. It is likely that we may come across mules, goats, and sheep along the way. Later we will stop for a Picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will make our way across the hills above the town of Sidi Kaouki, then down on a small beach until we reach the bivouac that is situated right next to the water. (Overnight accommodations at a guest house are an option). At the campsite, you'll find a tea service and a spread of Moroccan sweets. After that, you're free to relax and watch the sun go down over the ocean. Having dinner and spending the night in a genuine Kaidal tent.
Following breakfast, we will saddle up our horses and head for Essaouira in the morning. There will be many long, empty beaches. In our travels through the forest, we shall pass by a tiny fishing community. After a short rest for lunch, we'll continue onward through more sand dunes and beaches till we reach Diabat. The expected time of arrival at the stables is 16:30. At the conclusion of your 2-day horseback riding trail, we will drop you off at Essaouira.
