At the beginning of our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, your driver will come and pick you up at your lodging. We will be departing Fes and continuing our adventure via the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will make a photo stop at Ifrane, not too far from Azrou, to shoot some shots in the cedar forest there. We are going to observe a number of monkeys that have barbarian traits. After that, we will continue with the last portion of our journey and make our way to Midelt for lunch. After lunch, we are going to drive via the Tizi N'talghouma pass on our way to the Sahara desert. Near Errachidia is where you'll find the picturesque Ziz Valley, as well as several charming Berber towns, both of which we'll go through on our way here. After that, we will make our way to Merzouga through Aoufous and Erfoud on the way there. When we reach Erg-Chebbi, which is a paradise of sand dunes, we are going to have supper, and then we are going to spend the night in a small hotel, or Riad.
Following breakfast, we will go on the next leg of our excursion to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Merzouga Lake, which does not always have water in it, may be visited so that visitors can see the ducks and flamingos who come in the spring to make their homes on this lake. The Gnawa music will be played by musicians in the hamlet of Khmliya, which is where we will go next. After that, we will continue with our off-road drive across the desert until we reach the shadowy region of the desert that is located behind the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. In the hopes of finding mineral fossils there, we will make our way to a once-thriving community that has since been abandoned... We will return to Khmliya for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will reach the desert camp via a camel trek across the magnificent orange sand dunes. From the middle of the sand dunes, it is possible to observe a spectacular sunset and rejuvenate your spirit. You can have dinner and spend the night in the camp, where music will be played and you can play on the sand dunes beneath an unlimited number of stars.
The next morning, it is essential to rise early in order to witness the magnificent sunrise. After breakfast and a shower, return to the town of Merzouga by camel or vehicle and continue on to Rissani. The famous, traditional, and largest market in the region will be explored on foot, with a focus on locally manufactured goods and arts and crafts. Rissani is best visited on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday when the market is open. Later, we will go to Tinghir via the Tafilalt Oasis, where we will be able to witness the oasis's old watering system. After arriving in Tinjdad, where we will have lunch on our own, we will go to Tinghir to observe the Todra valley and explore the orange cliffs of the Todra Gorge. The day will conclude in the verdant Boumalne Dades valley. Dine and then spend the night in a hotel or riad.
Following breakfast, we will travel over the Dades Valley to our next destinations, Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. Because the path through Dades Valley is known as the Way of a Thousand Kasbahs, you will have several opportunities to shoot some of the greatest photographs of your journey. Furthermore, we will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, often known as the "city of roses," to acquire rosewater, which will leave your linens smelling fresh long after the trip is finished. Then proceed to Ouarzazate, also known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Then, on this 4 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech, lunch will be at the renowned kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This is the most renowned "fortified town" or ksar/kasbah in Morocco, located in the Draa-Tafilalet region of southern Morocco in the province of Ouarzazat.
