In the morning, depart Marrakech and travel through the lush Atlas Mountains, where you'll come across baboons and other wild animals. In the midst of fields and colorful hills, the road to the Beni Mellal dam leads through the countryside. Lunch on the way to Azrou, where we'll stop in 25 minutes for scenic photos in a cedar forest.. We'll then drive to one of the world's cleanest and most intriguing cities. When the Atlas Mountains rise above Ifrane and it gets cold enough to snow, it is referred to as "little Switzerland" in Morocco. Around 6 p.m., we arrived in Fez. Before dinner and overnight at your hotel, we take a short city tour of Fez.
After a leisurely breakfast in your hotel, we'll head out to tour Fez's ancient medina, which dates back to the 7th century and is home to the souks, palaces, mosques, Koranic schools, and the Mellah. Take a scenic drive across the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Your guide will accompany you as you explore the whitewashed alleyways of Chaouen, where you'll see inhabitants dressed to impress in their finest attire. Dinner and a night in your hotel are included.
Once you've finished your morning meal, you'll be driving to Rabat, Morocco's capital and seat of government. Visit the Hassan Tower, which houses a museum dedicated to King Mohammed V. Stop in Casablanca for lunch before continuing on to the grandiose Hassan II mosque, the world's most significant architectural achievement. Our air-conditioned vehicle will drive us to Marrakech on the highway.
